Consent & Data Processing

At first launch, ScryLab will present two separate confirmations:

1. Terms & Conditions: Mandatory acceptance of these terms to use the software
2. Telemetry Opt-In: Voluntary option to share anonymous usage statistics (disabled by default)

These choices can be changed at any time in Settings → Privacy or by reviewing the Privacy Policy at scrylab.de/privacy-policy.

License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these terms, Dominik Tirschler (“Licensor”) grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use ScryLab in accordance with your license model (see License Models).

License Models

ScryLab is available under two license models:

• Non-Commercial: Free of charge for personal, educational, and non-profit use.
• Commercial: Requires a paid subscription. Subscriptions are available on a monthly or annual basis. For custom arrangements (e.g. team licenses or special agreements), please get in touch.

A commercial license activates on up to 2 devices simultaneously.

Subscription Management

You can manage your commercial subscription — including cancellation, payment method updates, and invoice downloads — through the Paddle customer portal at scrylab.de/subscription. Refund terms are detailed in our Refund Policy.

Intellectual Property

ScryLab, including all code, graphics, user interfaces, and documentation, is owned by Dominik Tirschler and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. This license does not grant you any ownership rights in the software.

Restrictions on Use

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the software
• Remove or alter proprietary notices or labels
• Distribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or lend the software unless explicitly permitted by the licensor (for example via official distribution channels)
• Use the software to develop competing products
• Circumvent technical protection measures

Warranty Disclaimer

ScryLab is provided “AS IS” without any warranty, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We make no guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the licensor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or business losses, arising from your use of or inability to use this software.

Updates & Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of ScryLab following changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Termination

This license is valid until terminated. We may terminate your license immediately if you violate any term. Upon termination, you must cease all use and delete all copies of ScryLab.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be settled by the courts in Erlangen, Germany. For EU consumers, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country may apply.
